Bayacas,  a quiet village with no through traffic, is 10 minutes from Orgiva by main road or 35 minutes walk up the Rio Chico, 50 minutes  south of the historic Moorish city of Granada, ¾on hour from  Salobrena and the Mediterranean and 1 ½ hours door to do to the ski resort.



Coming through the front door on the level of the pool terrace, there is a beautifully tiled kitchen to left, a sitting room with wood-burning stove to the right and straight on is the dining area with storage, (possible bed-spaces) and a breakfast balcony which  catches the morning sun and faces the mountains.


To the left of the kitchen is the family bathroom. Beyond the dining area is a double bedroom with ensuite shower and loo.

The pool terrace faces south and has a shady vine - there is a storage space for the boiler and pool filter.  Going down the stairs from the pool terrace is the 3rd ensuite bedroom and beyond that is the access to the village .Going up the stairs from the pool terrace, on the roof terrace, there is a vine pergola with room for sun loungers and a storage room that hold a water tank and washing machine. Going out of the entrance gate, going down some steps, to the left is a small plot of land where we have previously had planning permission for a small town-house to complete the end of the street. 

All the roofs are modern and new. There is solar power that heats the pool.

We bought the unfinished house in May 2004 and carefully designed and restored the house using traditional materials including Moorish tiles, alcoves and arches. It has been used for family holidays and very successful lettings.
